Defibrillator installation and servicing

Having an AED in your workplace is important but ensuring your AEG is serviced and in working order is just as important. An AED has a lifetime of 8 whole years, with battery replacements after 4 years. Yet, it is recommended that your AED is looked over by a staff member monthly and then inspected by an inspector every 6 months. These inspections ensure your AED is free from damage, complete as a kit and charged ready for use in the case of an emergency.

JJ&AE Solutions provides a free monitoring and scheduling service to each of our clients, this includes reminder calls for your next scheduled service. We also DO NOT CHARGE SITE FEES and no travel charge within 30km of the City of Ballarat.

Emergency and Exit light testing

Emergency and exit lights require a 90-minute tests every 6 months. This test is done to ensure the battery inside will continue to run for an equivalent amount of time if the power shuts off in the workplace.
